CARRIERS-LIABILITY OF CONSIGNEE FOR FREIGHT CHARGE
Abstract
A recent case in New Jersey, New York Cent. R. Co. v. Stanziale, 147 Atl. 457, illustrates the extent to which the courts have gone in order to preclude any possibility of violation of the section of the Interstate Commerce Act forbidding discrimination by the carrier among shippers.
