LEINS - WORK AND LABOR- STATUTORY INTERCEPTION
Abstract
When a lessee fails to pay for labor or materials for which he has contracted and which have been used in improving the demised premises, may the laborer or materialman enforce a lien against the lessor's estate? Mechanics' liens being entirely statutory, this question can be answered only by a reference to the various statutes. And they present considerable variety.
