EFFECT OF WAR ON TREATIES
Abstract
The effect of war on treaties is a subject which has called forth considerable discussion from publicists, and has been commented upon to quite an extent in legal periodicals. However, the actual case material is not voluminous; and among all the British and American cases only one has been found which holds that a war per se, without action by the political branch of the government, did terminate a treaty provision.
